I cannot say enough wonderful things about Herron’s Crossing and Dr. Ashley. My dog Brody was in pain, I was desperately trying to find someone who could come to our home for at-home euthanasia. It was incredibly emotional and overwhelming, and no one else was able to come. I truly didn’t know what to do or how I was going to help him.
Dr. Ashley went above and beyond for us. She rearranged her entire schedule at the last minute and drove all the way to Dacula to help Brody so he wouldn’t have to continue suffering. I will never forget that kindness.
She was incredibly gentle, and compassionate. She made one of the hardest moments of my life as calm and peaceful as it possibly could have been. Brody was able to spend his final moments in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by family.
Thank you, Dr. Ashley and Herron’s Crossing, for being there for us when we needed someone most. I will never forget what you did for my Brody. ❤️

From the moment I first contacted Heron's Crossing, I was met with love, compassion and support. Deciding to let go of my dog, Lily, who was my best friend and greatest supporter, was one of the most difficult experiences of my life. I was already grief-stricken by the loss of my dad only a few months before and had also been carrying the anticipatory grief of knowing I would soon have to say goodbye to Lily.
Despite my vulnerability, I felt strengthened and uplifted by my interactions with the Heron's Crossing team. Dr. Jo was a true blessing. She guided me, Lily and my family members through a loving and gentle goodbye. Her presence was extremely comforting and assuring. She has a true gift for guiding families through their final moments with their beloved animal companions.
What the Heron's Crossing Team does is "heart" work and it is hard work. I will be forever grateful for the love, light and grace they brought to me, Lily and my family during such a difficult time.
Considering the difficult situation, Heron's Crossing was PERFECT! The vet, Dr. Ashley, was meant to do this challenging work: she was calm, informative, professional, and supportive. At every moment, she focused on what was best for our pup, Stella. I also appreciated the detailed website & the team's prompt & clear communications via phone and text. Another plus was their connections to Resting Rainbow cremation service, which was also top notch. There will always be a special place in my heart filled with appreciation for Heron's Crossing.
Saying goodbye to my beloved cat of almost 19 years was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make, but Dr. Jo Millard and the team at Heron’s Crossing gave him the peaceful, loving goodbye he deserved.

While I hope no one has to make this decision anytime soon, I cannot recommend Heron’s Crossing highly enough. Their compassion, professionalism, and genuine care brought comfort during one of the most difficult days of my life. I will always be grateful to Dr. Jo Millard and the entire team for helping my beloved companion leave this world with the dignity and peace he deserved.
